Actor Sivakumar from Tamil Nadu has drawn condemnation for tossing a scarf that was given to him by an old person during a book launch in Chennai. In the behind-the-scenes footage released by News 18 Tamil, Sivakumar is seen departing the function and is greeted by an elderly guy.

Subsequently, he offered him a scarf, which Sivakumar grabbed from him, looked at him angrily, and hurled. Everyone, including the guy who gave him the gift, burst out laughing at Sivakumar’s gesture. The fan received the shawl from someone in the audience and gave it back to Sivakumar. But instead of accepting the shawl, the Sindhu Bhairavi performer left the venue.

There is a lot of criticism against Sivakumar’s actions. One user said that he would have cheerfully taken it if late actor Vijayakanth had been there instead of Sivakumar. Sivakumar should no longer attend public gatherings, a user even said. On the other hand, one person thought differently about the video. He said that Sidumoonji Kumar, the one who attempted to give Sivakumar the shawl, is not a decent guy. Regarding Sidumoonji Kumar, there is nothing in the public domain.

For those who don’t know, Sivakumar is the father of well-known vocalist Brindha Sivakumar as well as two well-known actors, Suriya and Karthi. On social media, none of the three have discussed this occurrence.

One of the well-known figures in the Tamil cinema business is Sivakumar. Throughout the course of a career spanning almost six decades, audiences have showered him with praise for his acting abilities.

His most recent cameo was in TJ Gnanavel’s film Kootathil Oruthan, which he also wrote and directed. In the movie with Priya Anand, Samuthirakani, Anupama Kumar, and others, Ashok Selvan portrayed the main character. Viewers gave this movie mixed reviews, with many praising it for being a good message film. They disagreed, saying that the movie’s ponderous pacing detracts from its entertainment value.

Sivakumar has also won awards for his performance in a number of Tamil television series.
